Why We Built This Site
Pennsylvania gives the public access to many court records, but Philadelphia County does not use one simple county clerk model. Civil records are tied to the Prothonotary / Office of Judicial Records - Civil, criminal records are tied to the Clerk of Courts / Office of Judicial Records - Criminal, probate and marriage records are handled by the Register of Wills and Clerk of the Orphans' Court, and moving traffic citations run through Municipal Court Traffic Division channels. The goal is to place those offices, portals, fees, and request steps in a clear local order.

- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, address, portal, or office hour is current at the moment you use it
Only the issuing Philadelphia court, clerk, Register of Wills, prison department, sheriff, or Pennsylvania agency can provide an official record or certified copy.
